As a fellow Filipino, am proud of Charice Pempengco's achievements. She's taking Filipinos at a higher level, proving to the world that we are world class, we have world class talents.

In 2005, Charice Pempengco joined Little Big Star, a talent show here in the Philippines. Eliminated after her first performance, she was later called back as a wild card contender. Charice worked her way up to the finals.

Now, Charice Pempengco was crowned "holywood royalty" by E! Channel's entertainment news program entitled "Crowning Achievements".
